New Resident Resources

Just moved in? Welcome home! To help make it easier for you to acclimate to life in your new community, we’ve compiled this list of tasks and resources.

Do this right away

After you’ve moved into the community, be sure to complete these steps. If you’re waiting to close on your home, bookmark this page so you can easily access it post-closing.

1. Register for this website

Once approved, you can view resident-only content on this site. Plus, you'll automatically receive resident-only emails.

2. Set up ACH to pay your assessments

Set up automatic payments through the Vantaca portal to ensure your assessments are paid on time for the correct amount each time they're due.

3. Request amenity access

3. Request amenity access to use the pools.

Then get to know your new community

Design review

If you’re planning to make updates to the exterior of your home, you may need approval first. Get the scoop on the design review process and be sure to submit a design review application, if required, before work begins on your project.

Community concern form

Help keep your new community in tip-top shape by reporting issues that affect the whole community, like community landscape and compliance. Just fill out the fully online community concern form — you can even upload a photo, if you have one that will help.

Community governance

There are several nonprofit entities in place whose purpose is to maintain the vision and integrity of Mueller. Check out the governance overview page to learn about what each entity is responsible for.

Community standards

Mueller has specific community standards on the books to keep your community (and your property value) desirable now and into the future.

Renting out your house?

If you plan to rent your house out to someone else, you or your property management company must fill out the new tenant registration form each time a lease is signed.

Connect with others

Resident directory

Use the resident directory — accessible only when logged in — to connect with your new neighbors.

Resident-led clubs

If you’ve got a passion you’d like to share — music, wine, hiking, etc. — start a club and we’ll help spread the word. It’s a great way to meet your new neighbors.

Mueller's goals

Redevelopment must create a positive revenue stream that will fund on-site infrastructure and increase the City’s tax base for the benefit of all citizens.

The project should serve to reinforce Austin’s role in an increasingly global marketplace and create a wide range of employment opportunities for a diversity of the community’s citizens.

The project must promote economic development opportunities within East Austin, giving local residents a direct stake in redevelopment.

Development must maintain and enhance the quality of life in adjacent neighborhoods, providing complementary linkages, land uses and transportation patterns.

Redevelopment must offer a wide range of housing choices in order to create a new community of socially and economically diverse residents.

Development should be planned in a way that promotes energy and water efficiency, resource protection, reduced auto dependency, watershed protection and green space preservation.
