Ready to reserve a space?

Mueller’s parks and spaces are used to host causal meetups to 5K races and everything in between. The booking process ensures fair access and the best use of Mueller’s shared community spaces. Once you’ve reviewed the FAQs (scroll down to view) and selected a venue, you’re ready to begin.

Planning ahead is key, especially for larger events. Here’s how the process works and what to expect.

Reservation process

  1. Review the park rules before you submit a request.
  2. Submit a request form. This is the best way to reach us, check availability, and get your questions answered, even if you’re in the early planning stages.
  3. Review and/or approval may take up to two weeks depending on the size, scope, location, and date of the event. For larger events, a site meeting may be required to confirm details and logistics.
  4. Watch for your confirmation email. Once approved, you’ll receive an email with any applicable fees, deposits, and insurance requirements to finalize your reservation.

Event venue FAQs

You'll need to submit a request form to check if a venue is available. We cannot confirm by phone or email availability of any venue until a completed request form is submitted.

Applications are reviewed on a first come, first served basis and typically take up to two weeks. Larger events (more than 50 attendees) must be submitted at least 180 days in advance.

Fees depend on the event and location. Small events (25-50 guests) typically require a $25 usage fee. Larger or complex events may cost up to $5,000. Nonprofits may be eligible for discounts.

Please complete the request form with your details. A Mueller Community Life team member will contact you. If needed, they can arrange a phone call after reviewing your request.

Fitness and sports groups (max 50 people) must submit an event request with a practice schedule. Proof of insurance is required. Approved uses are limited and subject to park availability. Fees start at $10/hour.

If you're having less than 25 attendees at your event, you don't need a reservation. Please note, small groups may not bring bounce houses, tents, amplified sound, vendors, or large setups. Tabletop decorations are fine.

The Hangar cannot be reserved for events. It remains open for casual public use during food truck eatery hours.

Electricity may be available with written approval and required fees. Drinking fountains are available, but potable water access beyond that must be arranged in advance.

Vehicles are not allowed on park grounds. Exceptions may be made in rare cases with advance written approval.

You can submit this form if you'd like to have your event added to Mueller's calendar. Calendar posting isn't guaranteed.

There are two public parking garages near the parks. Paid parking is $2 per hour. If your event needs extra parking, please include a plan in your request submittal.

Possibly. You'll need proper City of Austin food permits and prior approval. Check with the Austin Health Department for guidelines.

Most public events require city permits. You are responsible for securing and submitting any required documents.
